Classroom Performance: MV Schools vs. Non-MV Schools

The classroom-level intervention under MV aims to achieve the following teacher outcomes. It was observed that teachers trained in pedagogical practices using cooperative learning, and who conducted MV activities consistently and regularly, were more effective at providing learning experiences that nurture and develop socio-emotional skills such as self-awareness, self-management, and responsible behavior. These teachers were also seen demonstrating such behaviours themselves.
Teacher Outcomes:

MV MAHARASHTRA : STUDENT BEHAVIOURAL OUTCOMES
Through interventions at the school and classroom level in Maharashtra, Mulyavardhan seeks to achieve social-emotional competencies, attitudes and behaviours among the children like self-management, responsibility, respect, non-discrimination, critical thinking to name a few.
MV GOA : TEACHER OUTCOMES AND BEHAVIOURS
The study conducted on 80 teachers who are regularly and consistently conducting MV activities found that these teachers have developed pedagogical skills in child-centered cooperative learning to create a positive, vibrant, and equitable environment, and demonstrate the importance of modeling this pro-social behaviours themselves.

Through interventions at the school and classroom level in Goa, Mulyavardhan seeks to achieve social-emotional competencies, attitudes and behaviours among the children like self-management, civic sense, responsibility, respect, critical thinking, non-discrimination to name a few.
MV WHOLE-SCHOOL OUTCOMES : FOR SCHOOL CULTURE AND VALUES
Under the whole-school approach for MV adopted by 100 schools in Goa, the schools demonstrated values-based leadership providing a safe, non-threatening, inclusive, just, and equitable environment through values-oriented governance, curricular plans, and opportunities. Additionally, constitutional values were exhibited by school staff and SMC through their personal behaviour in school level processes like planning, execution, and review. The reflections of these practices can be seen in the following findings.
